Fatal Crash in Noble County (VIDEO & PHOTOS)

NOBLE COUNTY, Ind. (21Alive) -- A Fort Wayne man is dead after his vehicle was hit by a truck around 8:30 this morning at the intersection of State Road 9 and US 6 just north of Albion.

Police reports say that the 57-year-old Balvinder Singh from Fort Wayne was driving his Toyota Camry northbound on State Road 9 and failed to stop at a stop sign with flashing red lights at the intersection of US 6.

The truck hit the driver side door. When police arrived, Singh was pronounced dead on the scene.

The force of the collision caused the truck to roll onto its side. The driver of the truck, 55-year-old Clara Slabaugh of Nappannee, was not injured.

The passenger in the truck, 20-year-old Brittani Grove of Nappannee suffered minor head and arm injuries and she was not transported by EMS.
