Allen County, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - The Allen County Coroner’s Office has identified the driver and passenger of Tuesday’s fatal motorcycle crash near the intersection of Schwartz and Notestine Roads.
The driver, 32-year-old Lucas T. Morrolf of Fort Wayne was pronounced dead at the scene. Morrolf’s passenger, 27-year-old Janiece Malcolm of Fort Wayne, was transported to a local hospital where she later died.
The Coroner’s Office ruled that the crash, occurring in the 10000 block of Notestine Road around 10:30 p.m., was accidental and the victim’s death was from the blunt force trauma sustained in the accident.
They are the 19th and 20th traffic fatalities in Allen County in 2012. The crash still remains under investigation.
