Federal Indictment Returned For 582lb Pot Bust

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- A Grand Jury sitting in South Bend has returned an indictment on three individuals arrested in a 582lb pot bust in the 8000 block of Auburn Rd on April 15th of this year.

Alvaro Rivera-Arvayo, 23, Luis A. Ramirez-Perez, 49, and Matthew D. Hottinger, 38, all of Fort Wayne, have been charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana. Hottinger also received charges for managing and controlling a drug premises.

The United States Attorney's Office will being hearing the case at a future date. Assistant United States Attorney Anthony W. Geller has been assigned the case.
