FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - The rising price of fuel is cutting into the bottom line of businesses that rely heavily on delivery services.
Armstrong Flowers says they are feeling the pinch but don't plan on raising prices just yet.
Sherry Armstrong-Reinking says, “I think if it gets to be 50-cents more we'll have to increase the delivery charge more. That is what is going to make the difference for our customers, which we don't want to do. We want to keep it just the way it is. Everyone is trying to do their best, but it is just expensive right now.”
Rinking went on to say fuel prices become full circle when she is charged more for product then she is forced to pass along those charges to the customer.
