PERRY COUNTY, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) - It’s a happy ending for a former Indiana governor.
95-year-old Edgar Whitcomb is a newlywed. The Indianapolis Star reports he met his 83-year-old bride, Evelyn, 12 years ago at a computer class and have been together ever since.
The ceremony was February 16th at their home overlooking the Ohio River in Perry County, Indiana. Whitcomb was a Japanese prisoner of war during World War II and Indiana’s Secretary of State before being elected governor in 1968.
