Fort Financial & ITT Employees' Credit Unions Merge

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (NBC33) - Two Fort Wayne credit unions merged Tuesday.

Fort Financial Credit Union and ITT Employees' Federal Credit Union combined services as a means to "benefit both institutions and their members," officials said.

"We were looking to join forces with another financially robust institution," Fort Financial president & CEO Steve Collins said of ITT Employees' in a statement, "increased access to products, services, and locations."

Fort Financial has branches on Spring Street, Dupont Road, within 3 Fort Wayne Meijer stores, Auburn, Churubusco and Angola.

ITT Employees' has two branches on Cook Road and on Innovation Boulevard.

The merger will continue to operate all of the branches under the Fort Financial name.
