Fort Wayne, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - Fire crews had their hands full during the overnight hours responding to a pair of late night fires.

Just before 11:30 p.m. Monday night, fire fighters rushed to the scene of a house fire in the 2100 block of Reidmiller Avenue.

Smoke was seen coming from the basement of the two-story home.

Crews had very little trouble with this blaze.

They needed about ten minutes to bring it under control.

No one was hurt.

And about an hour later flames and smoke were seen shooting out of the back of a house in the 2600 block of a Princeton Avenue home, just northwest of downtown.

The fire was also under control in a short time.

Nobody was inside the house but crews pulled two dogs out and put them in the care of Animal Control.

The causes of both of these fires are still under investigation.
