MONGO, Indiana (Indiana's NewsCenter)--A Fort Wayne man was found dead Saturday morning floating in the Pigeon River in Lagrange County.

The body of 60 year old Thomas Harmeyer was pulled from the river just before noon near the Nasby Dam in the Pigeon River Fish and Wildlife Area.

Police say Harmeyer was wearing chest waders and believe he was fishing when he died. An autopsy is scheduled Sunday in Fort Wayne to determine cause of death.
