Garrett Man Killed In Noble County Crash

GARRETT, Ind. (21Alive) - A Garrett man died Friday in a crash between a motorcycle and tank truck Noble County.

Around 10:00 a.m., Indiana State Police say Richard Smith, 62, of LaGrange, was driving a tank truck down CR600E, and crossing the intersection at Baseline Road.

At the same time, police say, Merlin Isaac Jr., 39, of Garrett, was riding his motorcycle eastbound on Baseline Road, came over the crest of the hill, and collided with the truck.

Isaac died of injuries at the scene.

Smith was not injured.
