Fort Wayne, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - A “Good Samaritan” is being credited for getting people out of a burning home early Monday morning.
The Reverend Robert Paschall was driving near south Anthony and Alliger just after 5 a.m. Monday morning when he saw heavy fire shooting from a home.
He frantically started knocking on the door, then on the doors of the neighboring houses, to make sure everyone got out safely.
The Rev. Robert Paschall says, “I came over here and I saw the fire that was coming, so then I knocked on my sister-in-laws door to wake them up. I came around the corner and knocked on all the doors. And I knocked the door open at the second house right next to it and told them to get out because the fire was blazing.”
The home was severely damaged in the fire.
Fortunately, no one was hurt.
