Grabill, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - Grabill holds first health event for women.

Sponsored by Christian Community Health Care, the health fair features everything from the Francine's Friends bus where you can get mammograms, to bone density scans, to free cancer and pregnancy screenings.

The organization has been providing free or low-cost medical care to people in our area for the past 15-years.

So why sponsor a health fair just for women?

Executive Director of CCHC, Mark Schlatter says, “Ladies are always so busy with their families and possibly with their jobs and they need to take some time off and learn about some health issues that may be affecting them, and this is a great way to do that."

Francine's Friends Mobile Mammography unit will be in Grabill until 3 p.m. Thursday afternoon.
