Hoosier Smokers Could Win up to $2,500 for Kicking the Habit

Indiana (Indiana’s NewsCenter) – State health officials are offering Hoosier smokers the chance to win some serious cash if they can kick the habit.

The 2012 Quit Now Indiana contest offers Hoosier participants a chance to win up to $2,500 for remaining tobacco-free for 31 days. Contestants age 18 and older can register through Sept. 30 at the Quit Now Indiana website.

Contest winners will be drawn at random and will be tested to make sure they are tobacco-free before they can claim a prize.

More than 4,500 people across Indiana participated in the 2011 contest.
