The Fort Wayne Fire Department responded to a early morning fire on the city's Northeast side.
Fire crews arrived to find heavy smoke and fire coming from the attic of a home on Blackhawk Lane.
Firefighters say the ceilings had to be pulled down so they could get access to the fire..
The fire was extinguished and the two people inside ofthe house got out with no injuries.
