Huntington Confinement Officer Charged With Excessive Force

Huntington, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) -- A confinement officer at the Huntington County Jail faces criminal charges after allegations he used excessive force against a handcuffed prisoner.

44-year old Walter McCann has been charged with criminal recklessness, and battery both misdemeanors.

The Indiana State Police conducted the investigation at the request of the Huntington County Sheriff.
