Evansville, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) - Governor Mitch Daniels attended the ribbon cutting ceremony marking the opening of the first section of the I-69 extension slated to eventually run from Evansville to Indianapolis.
An Indiana Department of Transportation spokesman said the project's first 67 miles cost just under $900 million, about 25 percent under cost estimates.
