FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Starting Friday night you can walk through Fort Wayne's newest art gallery and support a local university.

IPFW will hold its grand opening of “The Continuum Art Gallery" in downtown Fort Wayne and will sell and exhibit fine art by IPFW students and alumni.

Officials with the college say the location brings awareness to the university, while improving Fort Wayne's downtown at the same time.

Director of The Continuum Art Gallery Al Martin says, “This is just another way the university can reach out to the community to different cultures, to different people, in this simple area of downtown, outside of downtown, world wide, nation wide, we'll have a website.”

The gallery is open Wednesday through Friday from 4- 8 pm and Saturdays from noon – 8 pm.
