Fort Wayne, IN (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Almost 10 years ago IPFW brought the mastodon art project to the community. To celebrate their 50th anniversary IPFW is doing it again.

In 2013-2014 the university will unveil their next art project, artistically styled bike racks, that will be placed around town to serve as art with a purpose.

Area schools will be invited to take part in the IPFW Sculpture with Purpose School Bicycle Art Program. Participating schools will be given a recycled bike that students will turn into art. Those bikes will then be attached to the bike rack sculptures for the official unveiling in May 2014.

For more information, contact Ruth Stone at 260-481-6105 or stonerl@ipfw.edu or go to sculpturewithpurpose.com.
