Fort Wayne, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) - A taste of winter weather leads to a mess on the roads Tuesday morning.

The snow wasn't much but it was just enough to test everyone’s driving skills when it comes to black ice.

At one point area police were working at least 30 minor crashes, many of them were along I-69 and I-469.

Many bridges were ice-covered, like the one on Jefferson at Swinney Park.

And if that wasn’t enough, the 11300 block of State Road 37 was closed for a while because of live wires down at a crash site.

Thankfully no serious injuries were reported in our area.

Police say that Tuesday morning's weather is only a taste of what's to come and that drivers should always leave early and slow down!

In case you wondered, salt trucks were out.
