Inmate Found Dead In Grant County Jail

MARION, Ind (21Alive) -- The Indiana State Police have launched an investigation into the death of a jail inmate in Grant County.

Brandon Miller, 27, was found unconscious and not breathing in his jail cell around 3:19 p.m. Monday, according to correction officers. Preliminary reports suggest he committed suicide by hanging himself.

Miller was incarcerated on a Gas City arrest warrant for driving while suspended prior. He had been incarcerated since April 18.
