LaGrange County, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) – Indiana State Police along with the LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department are investigating an attempted escape from the LaGrange county Jail.
Investigators say that they learned of a possible plan thought up by the associates of one of their current inmates.
The plan was coordinated over a period of several weeks during the inmate’s visitations, mail and telephone calls. The plan included providing a car, money, weapons and tools to escape police custody.
The case is currently under investigation.
