Fort Wayne, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) – Our friends at Gas Buddy are reporting that motorists should be ready for a sharp rise in gasoline prices in the next few days and through the weekend.

"I expect stations to have increased prices as much as 10-35 cents per gallon by the conclusion of the weekend with some stations starting to raise prices immediately," said Patrick DeHaan, GasBuddy.com Senior Petroleum Analyst.

On Monday, wholesale gasoline prices rose 35-cents per gallon and Tropical Storm Isaac is to blame.

Since gas prices are quick to rise and slow to fall, don’t expect relief at the pump for the next few weeks.
