South Bend, IN (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - The Indiana Court of Appeals has upheld the sentence of a Fort Wayne woman convicted of killing her toddler son while trying to perform an exorcism.
At issue before the court, was the jury's rejection of Latisha Lawson's insanity defense.
The judge ruled that there was sufficient evidence to support the jury's rejection.
Lawson was sentenced to 62-years on the charge of murder.
