FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) – Teams are competing in the final day of a basketball tournament, but in this tournament everyone will come out a winner.

Sunday marked the conclusion of the Kids Helping Kids Basketball Tournament at the Spiece Fieldhouse. The event was held to benefit the Mad Anthonys Children’s Hope House.

Regional teams including the Gym Rats played alongside athletes all the way from Illinois and Michigan.

Coaches say everybody had a great time, and all for a great cause.

“It's regional, it serves all the parents in this community and then the county surrounding us, trying to help them if their children is in the hospital and they are trying to get medical help that way they have a means to be able to stay near them and be with them as a family,” said Carol Duncan, a Kids Helping Kids Coach.

When the games ended on the hardwood, kids could go to the VIP room to play video games and other activities.
