Fort Wayne, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - If you're a fan of King Gyros on Goshen Road, Saturday's a good time to pay a visit.
On Saturday, King Gyros will be raising money for Prader-Willi Syndrome.
It's a disorder that affects 1 in 15,000 people and causes constant food cravings without feeling full.
Seven-year-old Emily Spano of Fort Wayne has the disorder, and the manager says it was her smile that inspired him to give.
King Gyros’s Manager Nick Sakellariou says, “How can this girl be so happy and excited when she has this condition that she has to fight with every single day. And that instantly just popped off my head. I was like hey I got to do a little fundraiser for this thing. I got to find some way to help find a cure for it.”
King Gyros opens at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.
Ten-percent of all proceeds will go to benefit Prader-Willi Research.
