FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) -- The Libertarian Party of Indiana released a statement Saturday condemning the Indiana Democratic Party for using candidates' images without consent.
In the statement, the Libertarian Party said "the Indiana Democratic Party has sunk to new lows in their efforts to win two Congressional seats in Indiana."
The statement said the Libertarian Party learned the Indiana Democratic Party sent out direct mailers for Libertarian Greg Knott in Indiana's ninth Congressional district and another to conservatives in the second Congressional district about Libertarian Mark Vogel.
Libertarian Party of Indiana's executive director Chris Spangle said "[We] condemn the use of [our] candidate's images and branding in this manner without our candidate's express written permission."
According to the statement, neither Knott or Vogel were consulted about using their images in the mailers.
