Fort Wayne, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - Audiences Unlimited paid tribute to the woman who founded their organization some 40 years ago.

Lillian Embick was honored with a proclamation by Mayor Tom Henry and other leaders of the arts community. Lillian came up with the idea to pair local musicians with area nursing homes and hospitals to bring comfort and joy to residents and patients.

More than 2 million seniors have been touched by the organization over the past 40 years.

Lillian, who has received many local and national awards, has never collected a salary for her full-time job as Executive Director of Audiences Unlimited.
