Louisiana/ Indiana (www.incnow.tv) - The school voucher program in Louisiana has been struck down.
Last week, a judge sided with arguments made by the teacher unions and school boards that the program was funneling more money away from traditional public schools.
Governor Bobby Jindal plans to appeal the decision.
At this time, Superintendent of Public Instruction-Elect, Glenda Ritz has already said she is not in favor of Indiana's voucher program, and would like to reverse the decision.
Indiana's voucher program is moving through the courts at the present time trying to determine if it is constitutional.
