MDA Dinner Kicks Off Labor Day Tradition (VIDEO)

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- The Muscular Dystrophy Association of Northern Indiana kicked off its annual Labor Day telethon with a special dinner tonight.

The "Show of Strength" premier party was hosted by 21Alive's Linda Jackson, and honors local MDA families, friends, sponsors, and volunteers in their commitment to fighting muscle disease.

Guests also go a first look at exclusive footage from the "Show of Strenghty" telethon.

MDA of Northern Indiana serves over 700 local people living with 43 Neuro-Muscular diseases, and is the world leader in ALS research.
