HARTFORD CITY, Ind. (21Alive) -- Heavy rains overnight have caused major flooding to take place in Grant and Blackford counties.

Thanks to Indianapolis NBC affiliate WTHR, we have acquired some aerial photos of I-69 near exit 264 and from Hartford City.

Near exit 264 you can see water surrounding the interstate itself, as well as homes along the side of the highway. A semi can also be seen wrecked in the median of I-69.

The aerial photos from Hartford City show most of the roads underwater and emergency crews responding to homes surrounded by water. A house went up in flames and fire personnel were not able to reach it. You can see firefighters trying to spray the fire from a distance but having little effect.
