Man Breaks "In" To Prison

NBC - Folsom Prison apparently doesn't give one California man the blues. Authorities say they caught a parolee trying to sneak back in to the legendary prison which Johnny Cash sang about.

A prison spokesman says thermal imaging cameras captured Marvin Lane Ussery, 48, scaling the 7 foot tall wall behind the California state prison.

Ussery was on parole for robbery and served time at New Folsom Prison.
Staff members found a bicycle which allegedly belonged to Ussery. They were searching the grounds for any other belongings he might have left behind.

The big question is why would someone try to break "in" to prison?
Sgt. Tony Quinn talks to a reporter trying to answer that very question.

"The only reason he gave for being on our grounds was that he was reminiscing because you know he is currently on active parole and he was serving time here at some point."
Reporter: "So, reminiscing about the time he spent at New Folsom?"
Quinn: "It must have been a great time for him."

Ussery is now charged with suspicion of being a felon on prison grounds and there's a chance he may be returning to Folsom Prison.
