Fort Wayne, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - A man charged in a Fort Wayne shooting, who pled guilty, now says he's innocent. The change could land 22-year-old Aaron Wiegand more charges.

Wiegand was to be sentenced Friday after he pleaded guilty to two felony charges of criminal recklessness and illegally possession of a handgun. The charges stem from a shooting at the Eden Green apartment complex May 23.

Friday he asked the judge to withdraw the plea and send the case to trial. His request was accepted but now the state is expected to file perjury charges because he lied under oath when he took the plea agreement.

Police say Cortez Harris was shot in the wrist and right hip May 23. According to police two witnesses picked Wiegand's picture out of a photo array.

Wiegand is set to be back in court September 20.
