KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. (21Alive) -- After fleeing from undercover Kosciusko County Drug Task Force officers in the town of Milford, an Elkhart man was arrested Monday afternoon on drug charges.

Kosciusko County Drug Task Force officers were conducting an undercover purchase of marijuana Monday afternoon, with the assistance of the Milford Police Department, after a month long investigation.

Upon the conclusion of the purchase, the suspect, Emmanuel Ryan Kwabena Collier, 30, Elkhart, suddenly fled from officers on foot. A short pursuit ensued where Collier was tackled by Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department deputies.

Collier was taken into custody, and preliminarily charged with resisting/fleeing law enforcement, as well as charged with felony dealing in marijuana within 1,000 feet of school property. Collier currently has a prosecutorial hold and is located at the Kosciusko County Jail.
