ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- An Elkhart man has been arrested after he donated plasma despite knowing he was HIV+.

Investigators say 31-year-old James Williams lied on the forms he submitted before donating Plasma last January. The company taking the donation, BioLife, tests every donation and was able to dispose of the donation before anyone could be harmed.

Williams has been charged with six counts of attempting to donate contaminated bodily fluids.
