FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- Police are investigating an armed robbery of a Pizza by Vito's delivery man.

Police were called to the Pizza By Vito's on S.Anthony Blvd. a little after 8 p.m. Tuesday night. The driver told police he was delivering an order to a home on S. Barr St. He said he knocked on the door and no one answered.

As the delivery man was walking to his vehicle, two black males approached him from behind and shouted "hey, you got the wrong address. That's our food." When the driver ignored them, police say the men demanded money from the delivery driver. The driver turned around and handed one of the men $4.

As he turned back toward his vehicle, the driver told police that the other man said "check his pockets" to his accomplice. The driver immediately turned around and handed the first man the pizza bag containing 3 orders of 10 piece Chicken Wings and a large pizza.

The driver told police that the man followed him around his car and then punched him once in the face. As the driver was getting in his car, the suspect was yelling "give it to me, give it to me". The driver told police that as he was driving away he heard a gunshot.

The driver drove back to Pizza By Vito's and informed his employer. Other employees alerted him that there was bullet hole in the driver side door of his vehicle.

One suspect is described as 5'10"-5'11" slim build, dark complexion, in his early 20s with dreadlocks. The other suspect is described as about the same height, dark skinned, also with deadlocks and wearing a blue/black poofy winter coat with NY Yankees logos all over it.
