Fort Wayne, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) – Indiana State Police and the Fort Wayne Police Department arrested a Kendallville man who is wanted in both LaGrange and Noble counties on meth and animal cruelty charges.
Working off of a tip, the Indiana State Police was able to track down 34-year-old Ernest Ray Arnold Jr. at the Value Place hotel located near Dupont Road and I-69.
At about 12:30 a.m. troopers and Fort Wayne officers entered his room and took Arnold into custody. Arnold had two guns, one loaded, and items commonly used to make meth, however no meth labs were found in the hotel room.
A 26-year-old woman who was also found in the room was questioned and released.
