Muncie Man Will Spend 40 Years In Jail for Neglecting His Granddaughter

MUNCIE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) – A Muncie man will spend 40 years behind bars after his 5-year-old granddaughter died of malnutrition.

Robert E. Lee, 45, had been charged with child neglect, when little Lauren died. She only weighed 28 pounds and had lethal salt levels.

Lee admitted in court that he had discussed punishment options for the girl with here mother that included exercising to collapse and beatings.
