Huntington County, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - A naked 42-year-old Ohio man is facing numerous charges after leading Indiana State Troopers on a short pursuit early Thursday morning along I-69.
According to Master Trooper Gary Shenefield, just before 9 a.m. a red Pontiac Grand Prix was found parked on the side of the road near the 279 mile marker. When Trooper Shenefeld walked up to the passenger door and found 42 year old Chad A. Knoll from Montpelier, Ohio sitting in the driver’s seat, naked and fondling himself.
Knoll then started his vehicle and sped off, thus starting the police pursuit.
Knoll headed northbound along I-69 before finally pulling his vehicle over near the 283 mile marker.
He was taken into custody and preliminarily charged with Resisting Law Enforcement, Operating While Intoxicated under Controlled Substance and Public Nudity.
His bond is set at $14,000.
