Fort Wayne, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - The identity of that state trooper who shot and killed a man during a scuffle last week has been revealed.
Indiana state police say trooper, Seth Mann, struggled with 33-year-old Lucius Washington after a chase near downtown Fort Wayne.
Mann has been a state trooper since 2007 and has served in Jay, Randolph, Blackford and Allen counties, as well as in the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Division.
He's also been a member of the Meth Suppression Section and was in the Marine Corps reserves for six years.
Mann has no disciplinary record with the state police, and he remains on administrative leave.
Washington's death was ruled Allen County's 14th homicide of the year.
