INDIANAPOLIS (Indiana’s NewsCenter) –The Indianapolis Zoo's newest baby elephant made her first public appearance.
The 250 pound baby girl came into the world on June 28, born to 30-year-old Ivory.
She was born through artificial insemination. The zoo is asking for help in naming the calf.
A short list of names will soon be posted on the zoo's Facebook page, so everybody can vote.
