FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Morning news anchor Mary Collins appeared in court Wednesday morning, preliminarily charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
Fort Wayne police arrested Collins Tuesday afternoon in the parking lot of a southwest Fort Wayne Walgreens pharmacy. She was taken to Allen County lock-up where a certified breath test was administered showing she had a blood alcohol content of 0.14 percent.
The charge against Collins is a felony because of a 2009 misdemeanor arrest and guilty plea for a similar charge.
She'll be formally charged Monday.
