Nominations Being Accepted for Influential Women of Northwest Indiana

Do you know a woman of influence in Northwest Indiana?

If so, The Influential Women of Northwest Indiana committee is currently accepting nominations for its third annual awards ceremony.

The awards ceremony will take place May 23, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Avalon Manner in Merrillville.

According to a news release issued Wednesday, nominations can be submitted for a variety of categories, including Service and Tourism, Healthcare, Government and Economic Development. A full list of award categories can be found at www.nwiwomen.com.

“These awards were created to recognize the abundance of talented and successful women we have as leaders in Northwest Indiana,” event organizer Andrea Pearman, of Diversified Marketing Strategies, said in the news release. “These individuals deserve to be honored for their vision and commitment to our community.”
