Officer Shot On Indy's Northeast Side; 3 Bodies Found

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (21Alive) -- An officer was rushed to hospital this morning around 7:00 a.m. after an exchange of gunfire on Indianapolis' northeast side.

According to RTV6, the officer has been identified as Greg Milburn, a ten year veteran of the Indianapolis Metro Police Department. Officials say from IMPD say the officer is expect to live and that his bulletproof vest took the rounds fired at him. He reportedly is only suffering from some large bruises but no serious injuries.

Police found the bodies of three individuals on the scene. Two of the bodies were inside a home and were identified as Julia Morrow, 84, and Inity Morrow, 28. The body of a man was found between the house and a neighboring house. This man is believed to be the shooter and family members say that he was the boyfriend of Inity Morrow.
