One Critical After Crash In Northern Allen County

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - A man had to be airlifted to the hospital after a fiery crash early Thursday morning.

An Allen County Sheriff's spokesman says calls started coming in just before 4 am, saying a reckless driver was heading north in the 9700 block of north Clinton near Webb, when he lost control.

The driver, 38-year-old Jimmy McCary, was airlifted to a local hospital in extremely critical condition.

Police are investigating what caused the crash.
