Allen County, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - One firefighter was taken to the hospital early Monday morning as crews battled a blaze at an abandoned church in southwest Allen County.
The call came in around 2:30 a.m. about the burning structure at Aboite and Powell roads.
The Aboite Township Fire Department had to sound a call for mutual aid to bring in more water to fight the fire.
It's not clear what sparked the blaze or what the firefighter's condition is.
