Whitley County Man Killed in Noble County Crash

NOBLE COUNTY, Ind. (21Alive) -- Indiana State police worked a two vehicle crash that proved fatal for at least one participant Wednesday night.

According to their report, the collision happened on State Road 205 north of County Road 600S at around 10:50p.m. A vehicle that was heading northbound reportedly slid sideways and went left of center. That vehicle was then broadsided in the passenger door by a vehicle moving southbound.

The male passenger, who state police officials say is from Whitley County, was pronounced dead at the scene. The other people involved were taken to a hospital in Fort Wayne. Their conditions and identities have not been made public.

Noble County Sheriff deputies and crews from LaOtto Fire department, Churbusco Fire Department, Huntertown Fire Department, Noble County EMS, Whitley County EMS, Huntertown EMS, and the Noble County Coroner's office also assisted at the scene.
