PTA Fund Theft Investigation At Arlington Elementary (VIDEO)

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- Fort Wayne police are conducting a theft investigation at Arlington Elementary after a large sum of money went unaccounted for in the school's PTA fund.

At this time the investigation is in the preliminary stages but we have learned that PTA office holders turned the organizations books over to an independent auditor and that is when they discovered some accounting irregularities.

Fort Wayne police say the investigation is ongoing.
