Pagano Out With Illness; Irsay Says "He Will Beat This"

Indianapolis, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) -- A serious illness for Colts Head Coach Chuck Pagano is going to keep him out of the game.

Chuck Pagano was brought in to lead the Colts into a new era, but at least for a while, Pagano won't be doing any leading at all.

Pagano is dealing with a treatable form of Leukemia but he has to receive treatment right away.

The Colts had a press conference Monday morning, where owner Jim Irsay said Chuck is unlikely to be all in as the team's head coach again this season.

While most people diagnosed with this form of Leukemia do achieve remission, doctors at the press conference said it can be a long process.

Irsay went on to say that he believes with every fiber of his being that Chuck will beat this.
