Parole Violators Apprehended with 8 Active Meth Labs

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) -U.S. Marshal’s and the Fort Wayne Police Department Vice and Narcotics Division acted upon a tip Tuesday that lead to the arrest of two subjects with active warrants and the discovery of 8 active meth labs.

Officers entered the home located in the 2000 block of Elyetta Street and located Joy Hughes, 36, of Fort Wayne and James Lipscomb, 25, of Fort Wayne. In addition to the subject’s apprehension officers noticed a strong odor of Methamphetamine making chemicals.

During their investigation officers discovered 8 active “One Pot” meth labs, 28 used “One Pot” meth labs, narcotics paraphernalia, and marijuana.

Each subject was preliminarily charged with manufacturing meth and the possession of meth.
