PAULDING, Ohio (21Alive) -- A system wide depressurization of the drinking water system in the Village of Paulding has led to officials issuing a "Boil Alert" notice Tuesday.
As a precaution the utilities department is insisting that residents boil their water for three minutes before using it for drinking or cooking until such time that the appropriate tests are conducted and the "Boil Alert" is lifted.
Officials are asking that residents conserve the use of water as much as possible until further notice. Once the system is back to normal operating pressure, the Water Department will be sampling the system and testing the water quality.
If you have any questions or concerns, you can call Mike Winners, Water/Wastewater Superintendent at the Water Plant at 419-399-2976.
