Physics Students Hoping Not to Make a Splash in Cardboard Boat Competition

New Haven, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - Physics students in Mr. Derby’s class are participating in the 13tth annual Anchors Away Cardboard Boat Competition out at Jury Pool.

Using cardboard and duct tape, student design and build boats large enough to support 1 to 2 students as they navigate a course through Jury Pool.

Students often decorate their boat which always adds to the fun of the competition.
